Release Date: August 1, 2014

And so it arrives, the inevitable adaptation of the naughtiest bestselling novel Fifty Shades of Grey, will have its debut on the big screen come August 1st.. Despite its mixed response both critically and with some sectors of the general public, this controversial adaptation will undoubtedly be one of the most anticipated films of the year and I wager even the most hardened cynics out there will be hard pushed to hold back their curiosity. The film will star  Jamie Dornanand and Dakota Johnson.

Release Date: July 18, 2014

Back in 2011 Fox resurrected the Planet of the Apes franchise with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The film that was off everyones radar quickly became the runaway sleeper hit of the Summer. It merged new CGI and motion capture technology (with Andy Serkis) to deliver a new brand of authenticity and realism never before seen.

The new film takes a bold new step from where the last one left us, no longer is James Franco leading the pack,  instead we will be  introduced to a band of new characters played by an array of talent, Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, Keri Russell and the director at the helm of the sequel, Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Let Me In). Andy Serkis will return as Ceasar in a world run by apes…Not so different from the real world after all.

James Gunn’s (Super) Mavel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is perhaps the studios most risky project to date. While the official narrative is still unknown, we do know its lead is a talking racoon voiced by Bradley Cooper. If the film works it could prove to be the boldest and freshest comic book film to date. We wait with baited breath.
